A variety of comprehensive assessments are completed in order to gather important information and data which will assist us in identifying your specific dental health needs and determining the best treatment plan for you. We will review your medical and dental history, and we will take your vital signs which are integral in assessing your overall health. An evaluation of your extra and intraoral tissues, including an examination of your head and neck area (for early cancer screening) and of your teeth and gums, are essential in providing optimal care and early detection of any possible diseases as well as assist in diagnosing your periodontal condition.
